Need Official Warrant Information?
Use these local routes to reach the office responsible for the record or decision:
- A court case or missed appearance: call the clerk for General District, Circuit, or Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court as appropriate; the clerk can explain the court record and its procedures
- A new criminal complaint or initial bail question: contact the Lynchburg Magistrate’s Office, which handles warrant applications and initial bail decisions
- A Lynchburg Police record: contact LPD Records for an existing report or Professional Standards/FOIA for a records request; a request is not an official status determination
- Sheriff service or court security: contact the Lynchburg Sheriff’s Office about its own civil process, security, or transport work; it does not maintain a public online warrant roster
